Return Policy

The Simple Version

Keep items as long as you like — no deadlines, no late fees. When you're ready to return, initiate from your dashboard. Your tokens are released immediately so you can order something new right away. We collect from your address, inspect everything, and confirm within a few days.

Return Workflow

Step 1

Return Requested

You initiate a return from your dashboard under Active Rentals. Tokens are released immediately.

Step 2

Pick-up Scheduled

Our team contacts you to schedule a convenient pick-up time at your address.

Step 3

Collected from You

Our courier collects the items from your address. You receive a collection confirmation.

Step 4

Admin Inspection

Our team inspects all returned items, checking for damage, completeness, and condition.

Step 5

Decision

A final decision is made and communicated to you on your dashboard.

Return Decisions

5AApproved

Items returned in acceptable condition. Return is fully approved.

5BNot Approved — Damage

One or more items returned with damage beyond fair wear and tear. A damage fee will be assessed.

5CNot Approved — Lost

Items were not received or confirmed lost. A replacement fee will be assessed.

5DNot Approved — Missing Components

Items returned with missing parts, pieces, or accessories. A partial or full fee may apply.

Please note: Decisions may take up to 2 working days.

Token Policy on Returns

Tokens released on return initiation

When you initiate a return request, your tokens are released immediately — allowing you to place new orders without waiting for the return to complete.

Not Approved decisions (5B, 5C, 5D)

If an adjustment is needed after your return is reviewed, the relevant tokens will simply be put on hold as status "Reserved". If your balance is low at that point, the hold will be applied as soon as tokens become available. 

Resolving Not Approved decisions

Decisions of 5B, 5C, or 5D may be appealed and changed to Approved once any associated damage fee is settled by the member. Reserved tokens are released when the decision is updated to Approved.

Force Returns

Flippy reserves the right to initiate a force return in exceptional circumstances, including but not limited to: membership cancellation with outstanding rentals, or account termination due to policy violations. In such cases, the standard return workflow applies and Members will be notified with adequate notice.

Acceptable Return Condition

Normal wear from regular play
Minor scuffs or surface scratches
Items with all original components
Clean items, free of excessive dirt
Broken parts or structural damage
Permanent stains or markings
Missing pieces or accessories
Water or liquid damage
